This year’s spirit week and a half has truly been one for the books, as many students across all grade levels participate in various activities. On Tuesday, students participated in Scarf Day and that was followed by Candy Cane Day in which students wore red and white. To go along with Candy Cane Day, all classes participated in door decoration activities Wednesday morning. To end the first week of the week and a half long Spirit Week, students wore ugly sweaters, students wearing the absolute ugliest sweaters were rewarded. On Monday, students are to wear their class colors, and that’ll be followed up with Holiday Hat Day on Tuesday. To end the great week, students will be allowed to wear Pajamas, something everyone is looking forward to. While these festivities are taking place, our school’s various clubs have been collecting clothes, food, and other supplies to donate to local groups. It has truly been a great December at High School South, filled with spirit and festivities. Happy Holidays to all!
